Password Rules
For security reasons, b2b.statefarm.com requires that your password meet certain standards. The guidelines listed below may assist you in selecting a password.
Passwords should:
- Be between 8 and 32 characters long.
- Contain at least one lower case character.
- Contain at least one number.
- Be protected and kept secret.
- Be easy to remember but not easy to guess.
- Be memorized rather than written down.

Passwords should not:
- Be the same as your ID or contain long portions of your ID.
- Contain many occurrences of the same character.
- Contain the special characters # $ ' | ~ ! / ( ) [ ] < > * & ^ " ; : or \
- Contain spaces.
- Be words found in any dictionary.
- Be names of spouses, children, or pets.
- Be common dates such as your birthday, anniversary, etc.
- Be reused. Passwords should not be identical or similar to previously used passwords.
- Repeat the same character 4 times consecutively.
