Why Register?

Some information that State Farm® makes available on this website is general in nature and can be viewed by all who come to the site. This is public information. Registration is not required to access this information.

What are the steps for registering on the B2B site?

  • Step 1: Once you receive the registration email, you will need to complete the authentify process.
  • Step 2: Review and agree to the "terms of use" for the B2B site.
  • Step 3: Choose a permanent ID and password, answer a security question and provide information about yourself at work. Such as work place address, telephone number, and e-mail address. That's pretty much all there is!

If you have not received a registration email, please follow the steps below in "What do I do if I did not receive the registration email?"

How long will the temporary ID and password be valid?

The invite to register email is valid for 90 days after creation. If you don't complete registration within 90 days, the link in the email will be disabled. You can call or e-mail the State Farm B2B Technical Support Center for assistance if this occurs.

Who do I contact for registration and login help?

If your question is not answered in these FAQ's, you can contact the B2B Help Desk by phone or e-mail.

What do I do if I did not receive the registration email?

Please check your spam folder to ensure it was not sent to spam. If you still cannot locate the email, please contact the B2B Help Desk by e-mail. Please be prepared to share the following or include in your email:

  • Your Name
  • B2B ID
  • Business Name
  • Business Address
  • Business Phone Number
  • Business E-mail address
  • Business Tax ID
  • Type of Business
  • Administrator’s name or State Farm Business Contact’s name (if known)

Can I choose my own user ID and password or is one assigned to me?

During the registration process you will be allowed to create your own specific ID and Password.

The user ID I want is not available. Do I have to choose a different one?

The B2B ID is unique to each B2B user. If the ID you want is not available, that means someone else has chosen it. You must select a different I.D. Contact Us.

What are the requirements when creating or changing a password?

For security reasons, b2b.statefarm.com requires that your password meet certain standards. The guidelines listed below may be helpful in selecting a password.

Passwords should:

  • Be between 8 and 18 characters long.
  • Contain at least one lower case character.
  • Contain at least one number.
  • Be protected and kept secret.
  • Be easy to remember but not easy to guess.
  • Be memorized rather than written down.

Passwords should not:

  • Be the same as your ID or contain long portions of your ID.
  • Contain many occurrences of the same character.
  • Contain the special characters # $ ' | ~ ! / ( ) [ ] < > * & ^ " ; : or \
  • Contain spaces.
  • Be words found in any dictionary.
  • Be names of spouses, children, or pets.
  • Be common dates such as your birthday, anniversary, etc.
  • Be reused. Passwords should not be identical or similar to previously used passwords.
  • Repeat the same character more than 2 times consecutively.

Can I update my account information after initial registration?

Yes, you can change your user account information online. Click on the "Profile and Settings" link, then click on the edit button and follow the screen prompts.

How do I change profile information for my business, such as the business name, business address, business e-mail, etc.

While you can change your individual user information online, you cannot change information about your company online at this time. Please contact your business representative at State Farm to report these types of changes.

Can I change my password after initial registration?

Yes, you can change your password online anytime. After logging in, click on the "Profile & Settings" link and follow the screen prompts.

What if I forget my password?

Click the "Forgot Your Password" link on the login page and follow the screen prompts.

How do employees of my company become registered State Farm B2B users?

To get access to secured B2B content, your company must have an established relationship with State Farm. If no one from your company is registered with us, please see the “Register for an Account” link on the Home page. The first user at each company is that company's B2B administrator and he/she can add additional users by contacting the State Farm B2B Help Desk at 855-311-2681.

Can I choose my own user ID and password or is one assigned to me?

During the registration process you will be allowed to create your own specific ID and Password.

B2B ID's should:

  • 7 - 64 characters
  • At least 1 Upper and Lower Case Letter
  • At least 1 number
  • No more than 3 numbers in a row-
  • No spaces or special characters
